Harmon was born and raised left of center in a quiet Nebraska town. Creating worlds within his world through writing, audio recordings, and acting out elaborate days-long stories with his toys was how he survived the loneliness of childhood and adolescence. For nearly as long as he can remember, writing has been his passion and publishing a book has been his dream. John attempted to pursue this dream through traditional means, but quickly realized being traditional didn't suit his style.
